Still Life

Jersey: This is one of my jersey's that Cheerleaders are given every year for our homecoming assembly performances. This is my second one, which represents my 2nd year on Varsity Cheer at Sand Creek. You'll notice that Cheerleading is a huge part of my life by looking at this picture.

Bow #1: This Purple and Teal 'Tic-Toc' Bow, says Sapphires. This is my All-star Cheerleading team bow. This bow is very important to me because It represents CS Premier - the gym I cheer at, my specific team, Sapphires, and it was also given to my by one of my best friends for my 16th birthday. Allstar Cheerleading is a huge part of my life since i've been in Colorado. It has help me develop as a Cheerleader but most importantly, as a person,

Bow #2: This White bow is my Sand Creek Cheer Bow. We wear this bow to every competition we compete at except State.

iPhone: This is my new iPhone 6 that I just love. No explanation here.

Glass Bottle: This is a bottle from my favorite drink company "Jones". I recently discovered this soda at a gas station when I saw their flavors such as Bubble Gum, and Green Apple.

Small Bottle: This small bottle is from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina containing pink sand and small sea shells. This represents my absolute love for the beach.

Starbucks Cup: I love Starbucks, need I say more?

Pencil: I love to read and write.

Ceramic Bowl: This is pinch pot (see, i pay attention!) that i constructed and glazed myself.  On the base of the inside, is a (not so well) carved is an Eiffel Tower, and on the outside it says Paris is Always a Good Idea  and on the rim it says it in french. This is a quotes by Audrey Hepburn that I have some weird obsession with. This was made to go in my room to match everything else PAris.

Overall:

This project was pretty easy, in Painting, I did this exact same project, but, obviously, painted it instead and used about 1/2 the amount of items. I like how this turned out, it looks great.

Modeling Execise

If you can't tell, these 7 people are spelling my name Ondraya. This wasn't very hard (other than them all having very low attention spans) It wasn't difficult at all

This was not hard for me, because my communication skills are great :)

Color Wheel

This was color wheel was pretty easy, I didn't realize i'm missing yellow green, but besides that, me and my partners did this in about 10 minutes. Changing the white balance was an issue for us, we were all reallzy confused on how it worked, but as you can see, it worked out pretty well - except for the yellow painting and exit sign.

Dove Evolution

In this video, it shows a normal - natural woman with no makeup, while a team, adds tons of makeup to her face, and curls her hair. then, begins to take photos. Afterward, they show the woman's face in photoshop being edited, to the extreme, including moving both eyes downward and making them bigger--changing her whole face. I think the message after, is really true. I think that you shouldn't have to change a woman's whole face to the impossible for her to be beautiful.

The Use of Photoshop and Models

I think that retouching should be aloud but clearly and obviously stated that photoshop has been used. Not only does this cause women and teenagers to feel insecure, and could cause problems with self esteem and eating habits, it could also be seen as false advertisement. Ever seen mascara commercials? Their eyelashes are impossibly long. Why? read the tiny print in thee corner that tell us that eyelash extensions have been used. What about Red Bull? Doesn't actually give you wings does it?
BUT on the other side, what about when women wear makeup? Isn't that the exact same thing? It is used to make your skin look flawless.

Spot The Difference

These are my Spot The Difference pictures. I had to use two because the first picture I originally started with, i couldn't work with much. On the left is the edited one while the one on the right is the original image.

Just trying to find a picture was a challenge. Once I found a picture, It was pretty hard to figure out what I was going to change. I mainly used the clone, and paint tool - or a combination of both for about 99% of this project.

Light Graffiti

Here is my light graffiti. If you can't tell, The first photo says 'Draya', and the second says 'Ondraya" with a heart under, and the last was a accidental double exposure, that I liked. I loved doing this. It was really fun, kinda challenging for letter though. We Had different 'trials'. First we had a glow stick and next we used a flashlight from an iPhone. That was extremely bright. It didn't work very well. It did work pretty well for the double exposure.
